Graffiti is a complex phenomenon, consisting of many elements. The final result – a tag, throw up or panel piece – is the result of a longer process, consisting, among other things, of preparation, sketching, planning, getting paint, checking the spot, waiting long hours, and only at the very end – the act of painting itself. This last moment is often the shortest and mostly invisible piece of this puzzle, although for some it is often just as important as the final work.
The exhibition features photographs that show all the elements of graffiti, except the graffiti itself. Moments that were captured by the four photographers in yards, stations, bushes, tunnels, day and night.
